abstract: | ballar és cosa de llibres (dancing is a matter of books) is a scenic and participatory show that proposes the exercise of dancing with books and observing the movement created when you dance with books. An initiative that combines the practice of dance and the practice of observing at dance, being a dancer and being a spectator, the strength of a real physical experience and the pleasure of feeling seduced by a body that dances with a book. It proposes a journey through different ways of relating to a book beyond its common use and that singular relationship that normally has among the smallest. This trust as well-known and everyday objects is what, in fact, makes it easier to start dancing for the first time. A book can make people dance a lot. It offers an experience between dance and literature to discover the pleasure of dancing reading, reading while dancing, dancing what we read or read what we dance. How does it work? How long is it and for what kind of audience? Which books will we dance? What book will we see dancing? |
